Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Leahy's journey into the world of rehab began early. During high school, at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional, Dr. Leahy sustained two ACL injuries while playing basketball.  She endured two surgeries; both, with lengthy rehabilitations.

She went onto college at Wake Forest University and majored in French and Economics; knowing that someday, she would want to run her own business.

After a brief tenure with Merrill Lynch, she realized her passion for helping people heal.

Dr. Leahy specializes in neurorehabilitation, neurodevelopment, pediatrics, orthopedics and geriatrics.  She has worked in multiple settings over the past 14 years including: Children's Specialized Hospital in New Brunswick on the Brain Injury Team,  Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Center in Little Silver and Meridian Subacute Rehab at Wall.

In her spare time, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband Christian, her daughter Abigail, new baby boy Buddy, twin nieces Annie and Emma, family and friends.  She is an avid beachgoer and sports fan.  She especially loves basketball, swimming and camping.

Orthopedic Clinical Specialist

 Dr. Perdomo received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Rutgers College in 2006 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey: School of Health Related Professions in 2010. 

During his education, he received class awards for clinical and research work. Dr. Perdomo's professional career started in orthopedic clinical work in private practice and outpatient hospital setting since graduating. 

He became a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2014. Dr. Perdomo is dedicated to always advancing his clinical education and staying current with evidence-based physical therapy practice.

Dr. Perdomo specializes in Orthopedics, Vestibular therapy, Concussion management and Runners Injuries.  

In his free time, Marc enjoys living at the beach, spending time with his dog Darby, working out and following sports, especially soccer.

Dr. Brendan Gallagher graduated from Boston University with a Bachelors in Health Studies in 2008 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011. He started his career at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City where he gained experience in the inpatient rehabilitation and acute care settings.

Brendan then spent several years broadening his physical therapy experience by working as a travel physical therapist at various institutions throughout both Southern and Northern California. Brendan then moved back to his home state of New Jersey where he advanced his skills in outpatient orthopedics at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and achieved his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (O.C.S.) designation in 2017.

Dr. Gallagher was then hired by Trinity Rehab as a Clinic Director to oversee the start-up of their Shrewsbury location. Following a successful startup, he was promoted to Area Director within the company to oversee multiple locations throughout Monmouth County.

In 2022, Brendan was hired by Pearl Rehab as a Home Care Physical Therapist where he has been working since. Dr. Gallagher has found that working in the Home Care Setting has allowed him to provide high quality patient care in a 1 on 1 setting. He is able to assist all his patient’s in their rehabilitation with his wide range of clinical expertise.

PART TIME PHYSICAL THERAPIST 

Chris received his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University/UMDNJ after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary Medicine from the same institution. 

Chris has enjoyed a long-standing successful career in providing skilled services to home care patients, including comprehensive evaluations, assessments and the development & implementation of patent care. He specializes in musculo-skeletal and neurological abnormalities and enjoys being a motivational coach for patients which aligns with his passionate about helping them reach their maximum potential. 

Chris has worked in businesses of all sizes, including an outpatient facility in Florida and several home care services providers within New Jersey. He joined the Pearl team in 2022 and continues to focus his efforts on high quality care for his patients.

Chris is a licensed captain and fishing enthusiast, loves surfing, and has a passion for wood-working. He is a life-long Yankees fan and enjoys spending time with his family and dog.

Dr. Coll received his Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers University in 2007. He continued his education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (Currently Rutgers School of Health Related Professions) where he received his clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010. In 2014, he became a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. 

Dr. Coll’s initial interest in physical therapy arose from personal experience as a patient. Active in sports in high school, he sustained various injuries that required rehabilitation. This personal experience fostered an interest and passion for the rehabilitation process.

Clinically, he has worked extensively in the outpatient orthopedic setting with additional experience working in sub-acute rehabilitation and home care setting. Dr. Coll specializes in treating orthopedic conditions, vestibular conditions and post-concussion management. 

While not working, Sean spends time with his wife Cristina and his two dogs, Henry and Missy. He enjoys fishing, biking and exercising.

 Dr. Cianciarulo graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2013 with her Bachelors in Health Science.  She then went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016 through Quinnipiac’s fast track professional program. 

Since graduating over four years ago, Dr. Cianciarulo has practiced in several outpatient facilities treating a wide range of patients from pediatric to geriatric.  She has extensive experience treating orthopedic conditions including both surgical and non-surgical.  Dr. Cianciarulo specializes in dance medicine.  She is also a certified Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) provider and is currently working to further enhance her knowledge on pain science.

Dr. Cianciarulo enjoys creating meaningful relationships with her patients and developing collaborative personalized plans in order to help her patients reach all of their goals no matter how big or small.

On a personal level, Katie enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time on the beach during the summertime, and reading.  You can also catch her at home hanging out with her family, friends, and pets!

 Dr. George received his degree as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2017.
Dr. George’s passion for physical therapy came from his love of sports and undergoing physical therapy, himself, at a young age. 

Since graduation, Dr. George has been pursuing his dream of working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.  He has also worked in the homecare setting with pediatric and geriatric populations. He specializes in treating patients of all ages with a variety of orthopedic conditions. He delivers personalized care to help patients achieve their goals to optimize independence and functional mobility.

Steven enjoys playing basketball, tennis, singing, and spending time with his twin nieces. He loves rooting for his hometown baseball, basketball and football teams. (Go Phillies! Go Sixers! Go Eagles!). On his bucket list, before the age of 35, he wants to have travelled to all 50 states in the US with his wife!

Dr. Ehrmann has been working as a Physical Therapist for over 25 years. Colleen first received her degree from Kean University/UMDNJ. She then when on to obtain a post Baccalaureate Degree in PT in 1995. In 2010, she then received her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University. 

Dr. Ehrmann is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy through the McKenzie Institute which she uses with her orthopedic populations.  She is also certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation through the American Institute of Balance . 

Colleen enjoys working with patients with a variety of diagnoses.  She loves watching them improve and learn how to continue to help themselves. Colleen also adores spending time with her family; her husband, daughter and son.

Mary has been a physical therapist for nearly 23 years. she has worked in a variety of settings such as acute care hospitals, sub-acute rehab, nursing homes, outpatient pediatric settings, school-based pediatric programs as well as in Pediatric Rehab Hospitals.

She also completed at least 6 years of travel physical therapy from New Jersey to Upper New England. She earned her Bachelor of Science in kinesiology from University of Maryland in 1985...she worked in the Health Fitness management field for several years before getting her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Hartford in 1998..she earned her doctorate from Simmons College in 2006.

She loves the variety of work experiences she has gained over the course of 23 years from pediatrics to the geriatric population.. The amount of experience in collaboration with numerous colleagues has been invaluable over the course of these years.

In her free time she likes to travel, spend time with her family and friends at home or at the beach, and she takes her dog to Barn hunt and dock diving competitions:)

Amy graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science & Sports Studies with a minor in Business Economics in 2008.  Amy later went onto earn her Associates in Applied Sciences for Physical Therapy Assistant from Union County College in 2010. 

Since graduating, Amy has worked at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ, where she has practiced in several settings, including Inpatient Rehab, acute care, and outpatient rehab. She has treated a vast population, including diagnoses of orthopedic, neuromuscular, cardiovascular nature as well as amputee patient patients. Amy also works in outpatient private practice setting and has experience in sub-acute treatments as well.

Amy’s passion for sports and fitness has brought her into this field where she excels in patient education & known for motivating her patients to achieve their goals.

Amy enjoys spending time with her son and husband as well as friends and family & can usually be found at the gym.

Graduated with a BA degree in Physical Education  from Montclair University 1977 and later achieved a AS degree in Physical Therapy from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1981.

Gloria has over 35 years experience. She began her career at JFK Medical Center working within the outpatient , acute care and inpatient rehabilitation program.

She found her passion in private practice outpatient setting for 12 years working with orthopedic and neurological population. The latter part of her career she continued with outpatient setting at Healthsouth RehabilitationCenter.

Her passion is helping her patients to return to a functional lifestyle and reach their goals.

Gloria is married and enjoys life with her husband of 45 years and motivating her children to achieve a happy, healthy, successful careers and relationships.

 Brian’s first introduction to physical therapy was as a patient. After watching the team help those back to everyday life I was hooked. I attended Monmouth University where I graduated with a B.S in Health and Applied science in 2014. I then attended Union County College where I graduated in 2019 with a Physical Therapy Assistant degree. Most of my experience comes from working at an outpatient orthopedic clinic. I have a passion for helping my patients achieve their goals and return back to their daily routines pain free. In my free time I enjoy spending time at the beach with family and friends, golfing, working out, and spending time with my dog Bella.

Adriana graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science and Sport Studies in 2011. After working as a personal trainer, coaching competitive cheerleading and gymnastics, she decided to pursue a career in physical therapy. 

Adriana then attended Mercer County Community College where she received her Associates Degree in Applied Science in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program in 2020. 

Adriana has gained experience in pediatrics, outpatient, and inpatient settings as well as home health and ALF. 

Adriana loves to partake in outdoor activities while traveling around the country with her two dogs Molly and Rhemi. When she is back home at the jersey shore she likes to spend time with friends and family.
